CORNERSTONE ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER
After a long stint of cartoons and horror,
this purely epic felt fresh.
COGNITION EPISODE 1: OPENING CREDITS
A combination of live action footage (melting
stearin, burning paper etc) and digital assets
that I tracked to the beats of a music track.
Largely inspired by late 1990s Kyle Cooper,
no use deying that.
THE SILVER LINING -SCROLL TELLS A STORY
The first project where I shot some elements.
The splashes were drops of ink on a piece
of wet paper in a glass bowl.
Simple storytelling with beautiful music.

GABRIEL KNIGHT: 1ST NIGHTMARE
The biggest difference between Cog's and GK's
cutscenes was that GK's had already once been
done. Updating them was a fine line to walk on,
to make them look more modern, but at the same
time not too different to make the old fans angry.
This was the second cutscene to be finished and
the one that showed us the way to do the others.
MOEBIUS: OPENING CREDITS
This one was a bit harder to create with
the symbols changing during the developement
and the long list of people. This has more
digital elements than Cog's opening, but it
still had an interesting visual design based
on a title design and poster by Eriq Chang.
The box appearing in the video was actually
a miniature I built so I wouldn't have to use
a same photo again and again.
COGNITION EP1: INTRO
The first cutscene done for Cognition.
Built from old assets, it worked as a mold
for the rest of the cutscenes. A bit more
silent than the rest, but works nicely.
MOEBIUS CHAP3: TALK IN THE LIMO
A simple set up with three persons talking
in an extremely cramped up space. The given
order was that it should be done only with three
cameras, though after that the scenes on the
airfield had to be added. I thought it came out
extremely moody with most of the acting and sound
hitting their marks spot on.
CHILD OF FRANKENSTEIN
A homage to the films of James Whale.
Shot in studio, partly on a set and partly
against a greenscreen.
The computer is my old C64.
COGNITION EP1 TRAILER
The trailer for the first episode of
Cognition that inspired the style that the
rest trailers would follow.
I love the sound of the creaking
floorboards before the storm.
FACE NOIR RELEASE TRAILER
A much, much more relaxed when compared
to the rest of the stuff I've done.
